In our collection of plaster sculptures and works of art, in the artistic masks section there is the mask depicting the face of Zeus, made of antique patinated white plaster, suitable for indoor use and ready to be hung on the wall.
The original statue is made of bronze, is about 2 meters high and is kept at the National Archaeological Museum of Athens. The work dates back to around 480 BC. It depicts either Zeus throwing a thunderbolt or Poseidon throwing a trident. The sculpture was found in the sea in 1926 near Cape Artemision.
