Our collection of classical statues includes a reproduction of the work depicting The Bronze Age, by the sculptor Rodin, made of antique patinated white resin, suitable only for indoor use.

Rodin made the sculpture in Brussels. One can see the masterly skill of the sculptor and the care in the modeling. The young Belgian soldier, Auguste Ney, was the model for this work, which was exhibited untitled at the Cercle Artistique in Brussels in 1877, and was later titled The Age of Bronze at the Paris Salon. It is also known as The Awakening Man or The Vanquished.
